Professional experience

1992 -1996
Employment by  Quesnel River Pulp Pty Ltd

Quesnel River Pulp Company (Canada) is a thermo-mechanical / chemi-thermo-mechanical pulp mill with 1000 t/day production capacity. This consulting job involved an investigation into the causes of failure of the company’s anaerobic treatment system.  The investigation included research  work on bench, pilot and full scale.

Main biological causes for the full scale anaerobic system failure were identified and the corrective measures resulted in satisfactory plant operation.

1996-2000
Selfemployed - M2O Consulting Pty Ltd

Contracts with following companies:  Anglian Water International; Aquatec-Maxcon, Australia; Mars Confectionary; Cadbury Schweppes; Weston Bioproducts, Australia; Visy Paper; Quesnel River Pulp, Canada; Carlton United Breweries, Australia; Anchor Products, New Zealand; Stora Enso, Finland; Tembec, Canada

2001-2003:  Employment by Entec Environmental

- process engineering for industrial anaerobic wastewater treatment plants
- UASB Reactor and Hybrid Reactor design
- feasibility studies for industrial wastewater sludge digestion projects

2005-2008: Employment by AAT GmbH

- process engineering for industrial anaerobic wastewater treatment and agricultural biogas plants
- project management for construction and commissioning of an anaerobic digestion plant for whey digestion

Since 2008: Selfemployed - IBMR

- cooperation with Veolia on industrial wastewater treatment projects
- design and project management for industrial wastewater treatment plants
- operation assistance for industrial wastewater treatment plants
- pilot plant studies for industrial wastewater and solid industrial residue projects

Core business
